COVID-19 Safety Policies and Protocols
McBoat Photography is fully Vaccinated and boosted!!!
We closely follow the recommendations for "The Safe Operation of Professional Photography in a COVID-19 World" as outlined by The Professional Photographers of America and those that specifically relate to McBoat Photography COVID-19 Safety Policies and Protocols have been listed below:

Adherence to State and Local Guidelines: We aim to adhere to all guidelines and recommendations as set forth by state and local governments and the Center for Disease Control (CDC).
Social Distancing /Mask Wearing: If we feel like it is necessary to keep ourselves and clients safe, or if it is requested by our clients, we will socially distance ourselves and wear masks when photographing.
By Appointment Only: We will only see clients as scheduled and confirmed by McBoat Photography and there are no walk-in, drop-off, or pick-ups allowed by clients to McBoat Photography property without written permission from McBoat Photography in order to allow sufficient time to sanitize equipment and common areas used by clients. Only one family and/or client will be allowed onto McBoat Photography property at a time, and guests or children not being photographed are not allowed on the property. No pets are allowed on property.
Temperature Checks and Screening Questions May be Implemented: All photographic clients including all family members participating in the photography session may be asked to have their temperature checked before any photography session, and any persons with a fever over 100.4 degrees, exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms or answering yes to questions 2-4 below, will be rescheduled. Screening questions will include:
- How are you feeling?
- Have you had a cough or any flu-like or COVID-19 symptoms (including but not limited to cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fever, chills, muscle pain, sore throat, or new loss of taste or smell) in the last 14 days?
- Have you been around anyone exhibiting these symptoms (including but not limited to cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fever, chills, muscle pain, sore throat, or new loss of taste or smell) within the last 14 days?
- Are you living with anyone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19, or who is sick or quarantined?
McBoat Photography Commitment: Only photographers not exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms will be allowed to photograph. We will continue to follow all CDC guidelines on temperature checks, sanitation, hand-washing, cough and sneeze etiquette, social distancing, use of PPE and other protective behaviors. Here are some ways we may implement Protocols:
- Wear Masks and Socially Distance
- Temperature checks before and after photography sessions
- Washing hands regularly before and after photography sessions
- Sanitation of all props, chairs and benches for which clients may come into contact with
- Sanitation of all common areas used by clients
